They are not interested in aged care if the aged person needs to much help. Like assistance walking and bathroom help. Jade as she is known by gave my family the run around. Thus was the place we wanted to send my Mother but after filling out the forms and them seeing the assessment of mum they declined her. Very wrong and very rude. For an aged care facility, I wouldn't recommend anyone go there.

Our Mum moved to Arcare in July, she was unable to stay in her own home alone and has poor mobility. My sister and I looked at several other facilities on the coast before deciding on Kanwal. It’s more like a hotel for Seniors than a nursing home. The rooms are large, airy and light. Mum was able to take her own bedside tables and dressing table. The ensuites are also a good size. The staff are wonderful. They’re caring, helpful and friendly. We’re very happy with the care our Mum receives and would recommend Arcare, Kanwal to anyone looking for respite or permanent care.

The private rooms for Residents are so spacious, with large ensuites & each with their own nice large TV. The Menus for the meals sound nice too.

The staff at Magnolia Manor cared for my wife for over three years; they were wonderful. The accommodation and facilities are probably as good as you will find in the industry. The staff are caring and cooperative. Magnolia Manor no doubt has its share of problems but they are usually dealt with expediently. I would have no hesitation in recommending Magnolia Manor to anyone considering a place for their loved one.
