Two stars for the facilities, nice big room with big TV. Staff seems friendly, but doesn’t help much. Nothing really happened to my mother-in law except she doesn’t eat much their food since not very nice meals. What shocked us was an old gentleman who has not sight asked for help to go to toilet and the lady asked him to sit there and wait for 10 minutes but she never came back. The old man struggled but couldn’t find the way ti toile, we pressed the button nobody appeared and he stared to lose temper and yelled at the hallway, sadly nobody came. I didn’t know how to help and had to keep eyes on my mother in Law. Just sad to see all this.
My Mum has been at Tricare Sunnybank for four years. It is a very challenging environment to deliver high quality care when measured against the acute care environment (ie hospitals). Tricare has experienced issues over these years but I am very happy with the current leadership team in Raj and Amanda. I hope they remain in these roles to continue to support staff to deliver compassionate care to my Mum.
Visited my grandma on Thursday last week in the late evening around 8pm and there was no staff to give my grandma something for her pain. Caring staff said that the registered nurse who can give the pain medication is gone home early . Apparently, there was an enrolled nurse there and she could not give the pain medication without the Registered nurse . What about if someone needs pain medication . I hope your loved are not experiencing the same thing . I am assuming it is a common thing at this place . I hope the manager of this place is aware of it at least .
Wonderful staff and facility. My Dad has resided here for the past year and I can honestly say that I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing to place a loved one into a nursing home as their standard of care has far exceeded my expectations in every way. A very heartfelt Thank You to you all!!
It is like a 5 star hotel with an exceptional level of care. I highly recommend TriCare Sunnybank Hills to anyone looking for aged care for their family. The staff are excellent and visitors always tell me how great the nurses and carers were to them. The staff always have a smile on their face. It is so nice that I would stay there.
