My mother, now 94, has been at the Pines since Sept 2020 & is very happy there. The staff are so kind and caring. Mum has a Konnekt Videophone which is so easy for her to use so, even though I live in Qld, I can see & talk to her every day. Often a staff member is with her and says hello too. Different ones play chess with her which she loves. Every month or so Mum has a "special care day" & I get a full report on her health. As well the RN on duty contacts me if anything happens & I am encouraged to contact them if I have any concerns. They are always friendly and quick to respond. We couldn't be happier with her care. The building is not that attractive from the outside but inside is lovely. Mum is very comfortable in her room with her things around her & she has a lovely big window overlooking the pine forest across the road. Meals are served in the dining area unless Mum would rather have it in her room, which she does from time to time. She enjoys the variety in the food offered which is well presented. I am also very happy with the vaccination rate of both staff and residents at Pines Living and the prompt action when there have been covid outbreaks and the fact that families are notified immediately. I feel Mum is very safe there. I was nervous about Mum going into Aged Care but we couldn't have had a better experience. I highly recommend Pines Living & also Konnekt Videophone which has enabled us to stay in contact even through covid isolation when no visitors are allowed.

My mother Joahanna moved in yesterday. Pines exceeded my expectations in it's facility and caring staff. I was continually impressed with their attention to detail . My mother is in advance stage of dementia and can become upset and confused. The staff demonstrated a genuine approach to care, giving my mother dignity. My mum was even welcomed with a magnificent flower arrangement in her room made by Rose which was a beautiful touch. Could not recommend The Pines enough.

Visited my dad who has been living here less than a month and was so impressed by the service and cleanliness and professionalism !
