The nicest aged care place around by far, great staff, programs and the residents are pretty cool too
John Curtin aged care in Creswick is a fine example of how well a community run aged care facility can over many years serve the community where it exists. The welcoming environment with all rooms surrounded by bright and colourful courtyards and gardens adds to the overall feeling of home. The terrific meals served in the dining room are enhanced by a coffee shop where residents and their families as well as staff and the Creswick community are welcome to gather and enjoy company, great coffee and indulgent snacks and cakes. Just like home!
Having guided my family through the last 7 years of my Father's life, first into an ILU and then into the nursing home, we cannot praise the staff highly enough. They looked after him with great care and gentleness. Their consideration of the family was greatly appreciated! In particular the kindness and gentleness extended to both Dad and our family during his last week was exemplary!
A very vibrant and welcoming community of residents, families and supporters, and warm and friendly fellow team members make John Curtin my favourite workplace.
