We're a team of doctors who founded Mark & Sylvie's Home Care because we're truly passionate about elderly care. Our mission is simple: to help seniors live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Our founder, Dr. Floyd Gomes, named our service after his parents who came to Australia from India in 1983 with just $200 in their pockets. We combine medical expertise with compassionate home care - the kind of care we wish our own parents could have experienced in their later years.
What makes us different is our connection to Atticus Health. This gives you access to medical specialists and allied health professionals all in one place. Our carers are specially trained to advocate for you during telehealth appointments with your GP, and our care managers are registered nurses who oversee everything.
We offer government-funded Home Care Packages with immediate availability. Our services include skilled nursing, personal care, and companion care. Everything we do is guided by our core values of creativity, empowerment, and kindness.
We created this company after seeing too many elderly patients become housebound, miss medical appointments, and then suddenly end up in residential facilities after a health crisis. We wanted to create something better - a service that keeps you safe, healthy, and comfortable in your own home.
